We make our world significant by the courage of our questions and by the depth of our answers.

WHAT IS ANTHROPOLOGY?
Anthropology is about making the exotic familiar,
and the familiar exotic
Anthropology is about thinking outside the box, it challenges individuals to understand how and why other human beings live life a certain way
Anthropology is a highly rewarding – even life-changing – subject to study at university. At VIU you will be pushed to question many of your core assumptions and exposed to radically different ways of thinking.
